Green Guardian Charitable Trust organizes beach and owara cleaning drives to protect marine life, preserve coastal ecosystems, and promote community participation in environmental conservation.

The Beach & Owara Cleaning Program by Green Guardian Charitable Trust is a community-driven initiative aimed at restoring and preserving coastal and shoreline ecosystems. Plastic pollution, chemical waste, and human litter severely threaten marine biodiversity, local livelihoods, and the natural beauty of our coasts.

Through regular cleaning drives, volunteers, local residents, and students come together to remove waste from beaches, owara (coastal wetlands), and other water bodies. The initiative not only improves the aesthetic and ecological health of these areas but also prevents pollution from reaching the ocean, safeguarding fish, turtles, birds, and other marine species.

Green Guardian Charitable Trust emphasizes awareness alongside action. During each drive, participants learn about the harmful effects of litter, sustainable waste management, and ways to reduce plastic usage. The program also advocates for community stewardship, encouraging local residents to actively protect their coasts and wetlands long after cleanup events.

By combining hands-on cleaning with environmental education, the Beach & Owara Cleaning Program reflects the Trust’s mission of seva for nature, marine conservation, and the promotion of sustainable living practices. It is a vital step toward healthier coasts, thriving wildlife, and a cleaner India.
